Building Industry-Ready IT Professionals
Nepal’s IT job market has changed faster than most curricula can keep up with. How the Professional Classes Are Structured

Professional Classes by Semester
Semester 2 – React JS
By Semester 2, the focus shifts to the browser. Students learn modern front-end development with React JS, building the kind of interactive, component-based interfaces that most production web apps run on today. It sets up everything that comes later—the same JavaScript foundation carries straight into React Native in Semester 5.
Semester 3 – Node.js with Express
Semester 3 moves to the other side of the stack. Students build backend applications and REST APIs with Node.js and Express—the layer that actually powers the interfaces they built the semester before. Front-end, then back-end: the pairing isn’t an accident.
Semester 4 – Python Django
Semester 4 introduces Django, and with it, a different way of building web applications: secure, scalable, and driven by a real database rather than static content. It’s also most students’ first serious exposure to Python in a production-style framework, ahead of the Advanced Python track in Semester 6.
Semester 5 – React Native
At the time when students already have knowledge about programming and web technologies, the next step is React Native. This is a logical move, as the next challenge for students will be to create not web-only but mobile interfaces that work on both platforms, iOS and Android, using one codebase only, just like big companies do.
Semester 6 – AI/ML, QA, DevOps, Python Advanced, React Native & MERN Stack
Semester 6 is where things widen out. Instead of one track, students choose from six parallel professional classes, each pointing toward a different corner of the industry:
• AI/ML: Applied machine learning concepts and model-building, moving past the theoretical AI coverage in the core syllabus.
• QA: Software testing methodology, test case design, and the quality assurance processes used in real dev teams.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and the infrastructure practices that connect development to production.
• Python Advanced: More advanced Python skills than the ones learned through the basic programming classes.
• React Native: This track builds on the experience gained from Semester 5 and can be a beginning for those who haven’t studied it before.
• MERN Stack: Students get to learn full-stack web development with the use of technologies like MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.

Semester 7 – AI/ML Project-Based Learning
Semester 7 is where the AI/ML fundamentals picked up in Semester 6 turn into something bigger: a project-based course where students apply machine learning concepts to an actual problem, start to finish, rather than isolated exercises. It’s the closest thing in the program to working like a real AI/ML team.
